Breast Implant Warranty Information

Breast Implant Warranty Information

When you have breast augmentation surgery, you purchase your breast implants through the plastic surgeon. You will receive, at no additional cost, a lifetime replacement warranty for breast implants (for the replacement cost of the implant itself) in case of a rupture. Both Mentor and Inamed also offer financial assistance for a certain time-period after your breast augmentation surgery to cover certain additional costs (surgical expenses, etc.). You may also be able to purchase additional coverage. Mentor's basic warranty covers both implants when 1 ruptures - Inamed's does not. Mentor's enhanced warranty can be bought within 45 days after surgery and can be registered online. Inamed's warranty is only a 30-day registration, sent by mail only.
